Spreading the Chanukah Light to the Elderly and Infirm

During Chanukah volunteers will be visiting the Jewish residents of all of the nursing homes and the hospital in Skokie, bringing them the light and joy of Chanukah. This is being coordinated by Tiffany Fedida. If you would like to be part of this, please contact her.

Of Locks and Keys and Security

Over the past few months you may have noticed work being done on our building. We have upgraded and added security systems to protect all of us. As part of this process we have rekeyed the exterior locks and the old key no longer works to those locks . In the coming week or so, we will change the combination of the alley door.

If you find that your key no longer works or that the combination you enter does not unlock the door, do not use force on the lock. The lock is not broken; it is just that you don’t have a current key or combination.

If you need to be able to gain access to the building at times when it is not open to the public, please speak to Rabbi Yosef Posner about getting a new key. If your usual means of entry is via the combination lock, the new combination is ●,●,●,●. If your computer does not have the security clearance to read that encrypted combination, please speak to Rabbi Yosef Posner.

Thank You

Thank you to Tal Adar, Avi Belson, David Superstein, Chaim Telsner, and  Alan Towb for putting up our giant menorahs all round town!

Mazal Tov

We extend a hearty Mazal Tov to Larry and Lora Frazen on the birth of a granddaughter on Sunday, to their children Deanna and Eli Casper. May they have much Yiddishe Chassidishe Nachas!

We extend a hearty Mazal Tov to Rabbi Sholem Ber and Rivkie Raices on the birth of a granddaughter Nechama Rochel on Tuesday, to their children Mendel and Chaya Mushka Raices. May they have much Yiddishe Chassidishe Nachas!
