Where are the Rebetzins

Most of the Rebetzins are off to New York for the annual Shluchos convention, scheduled to take place around the 22nd of Shevat, Yahrzeit of the Rebetzin. You may also be seeing a bit less of some of the Rabbis as they try to attend to some of the domestic duties which are normally the Rebetzins purview.

Siyum HaRambam

In the spring of 1984, the Rebbe called for an innovative addition to the daily study schedule of every Jewish man, woman and child. He suggested that everyone study a portion of Maimonides' compendium of Jewish law, known as the Mishneh Torah or simply as Rambam. To read more about the cycle of daily study of Rambam, read here.

Almost a year has passed since last year’s 30th Siyum HaRambam, when so many of us joined in the festivities and joined the expanding circle of Rambam learners.

The 3 Chapter a Day program will complete the 31st cycle of learning Rambam in a few days.  Men are invited to attend this year's Siyum HaRambam, Wednesday evening, 26 Shevat (February 6) at the Lubavitch Mesivta of Chicago with special guest, Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Wolberg, of the Lubavitch Yeshiva in Manchester, England.

New YorkHere We Come 
The CTeen Shabbaton is here! This Thursday, Rabbi Chaim and Rochel will be taking  teens from Skokie to join others from all over the country, for the greatest “high school reunion” experience! We are delighted that our delegation is being joined by a teen from Oak Park and one from Munster, Indiana! You can follow our trip on Facebook.com/Jewishyouthhouse. We will be back, G‑d willing, on next Sunday night.

The girls club will meet this Wednesday 5:00 - 6:30 pm @the Mooz

There will be no boys group this coming week because we will be enroute to New York.

There will be no Girls Kiddush this week.

Mazal Tov

Mazal tov to Lori and Aaron Miller on the birth of a boy on Tuesday. May they see much Yiddishe, Chassidishe Nachas.

The Shalom Zachor (for men) will be in the Miller home, 9055 Keystone, beginning at 8 p.m. The Bris is tentatively called for Tuesday, Feb 5, at Shul after davening

Shabbat L’Yisraelim

Shabbat L'Yisraelim, provided by Rabbi Menachem Slavaticki and the Chabad Israeli Center, will meet this Shabbat at 10:00 a.m. on the lower level for Shacharit. The Tefila is followed by a complete Seudat Shabbat.
