The Farbrengen will be led by Rabbi Bentzy Shemtov Director of Chabad at UIC.
Yud Tes Kislev is celebrated as the “Rosh Hashanah of Chassidus,” and is the day the Alter Rebbe was freed from prison in czarist Russia. We’ll be playing with fire in downtown Skokie!
Come out to celebrate at Skokie’s Site of Civic Pride with a fire dancer entertainment, hot drinks and donuts and a lot of great energy! Skokie Mayor George Van Dusen and village trustees will join us to celebrate the festival of lights.
