Moshiach Seudah

Everyone is invited to partake in Moshiach Seudah, on the afternoon of April 14, 2012, 6:30 p.m. on the last day of Pesach, as we take spiritual leave of Pesach with our eyes wide open.

No Kiddush

There will be no Kiddush this week, due to Pesach. There will be no Kiddush at the Israeli minyan either.

Timely Reminders

This Shabbos marks Four Days for Sefiras Ha’Omer.

The Last Days of Pesach begin Sunday evening. See the detailed schedule below.

Yizkor will be said on Tuesday, the Last Day of Pesach, at approx. 10:45 a.m.

On Tuesday, the Last Day of Pesach, Mincha is early at 6:05 p.m., because of the Moshiach Seudah which follows.

For Havdalah after Yom Tov, we do the same as after Shabbos except that we do not use a candle or spices.

We do not say Tachnun during the remainder of the month of Nissan.

Among the restrictions of the Sefiras Ha'Omer period: We do not hold weddings, take haircuts, eat new fruit requiring Shehecheyanu (except Shabbos) and avoid music and buying new clothes.

Shabbat L’Yisraelim

Shabbat L'Yisraelim, provided by Rabbi Menachem Slavaticki and the Chabad Israeli Center, will meet this Shabbat at 10:00 a.m. on the lower level for Shacharit. The Tefila is followed by a complete Seudat Shabbat.
