We hit the road to visit our friends in Grand Rapids Cteen! What a cozy & inspiring SHabbat with other Jewish teens.

Skokie teens gave the Ark the gift of an Extreme Makeover of one their spaces! Starting with bare and dingy walls, the teens patched & painted. The work was all done by the teens themselves.

Cteen Junior! We discussed Tzedakah, and how it is the right thing to do, and the importance of having a Tzedakah boxes in the home, and that giving is a fundamentally Jewish thing.

Teens helped pack & deliver boxes to needy people.

What a blast! We did lots of experiments and activities with bubbles, carbonating seltzer using off-gas we produced from baking soda and vinegar, experimenting with giant bubbles, strong bubbles, and even enjoying some “bubble juice.” Photos are going up online and in the hallway for your viewing pleasure.
