Keeping Our Children Safe and Healthy Policies
We offer Hebrew School with the utmost care for the health of our students, families, staff and the community. We are in adherence to the directives of the Skokie Health Department, as they relate to  our program. All guidelines are subject to change at any time, as the situation with Covid evolves.

 Students and staff are to come to Hebrew School masked.
 Facemasks are required of everyone, vaccinated or unvaccinated, when
 Facemasks may be removed for eating and drinking, and when outdoors.

 Students and staff wash or sanitize hands upon arrival, before eating and
throughout the day as appropriate.
 Parents are requested to confirm that their children are symptom and
exposure free each Sunday morning before 9:00 AM, using this online form.
 When the weather allows for it, activities are outdoors as much as possible.

In Case of Illness
 Parents are not to bring children to Hebrew School, and staff members are
not to come to Hebrew School, if experiencing any of these symptoms:
fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath or trouble breathing, fatigue,
muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat,
congestion or runny nose, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
 If a student displays any of the above symptoms during Hebrew School, a
parent needs to take the child home.
 Parents are not to bring children to Hebrew School, and staff members are
not to return to Hebrew School, until symptom-free for 24 hours.
 If a student or staff member is exposed to, or diagnosed with Covid, Zeesy
Posner needs to be notified immediately, at 847-452-7770, so that
appropriate steps can be taken.
