Jew Crew Sukkah at Niles North
Students and Staff at Niles North are invited to use the Jew Crew sukkah in the cafeteria courtyard. And please join us for lunch on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 during all periods. We'll be there with delicious food and drinks, and lulav and etrog.
Mobile Sukkah at Public Schools
The mobile Sukkah will be visiting area schools at dismissal so that students can hop on to shake the lulav, enjoy some refreshments, and partcipate in the mitzvot of Sukkot. Please contact us for details.
Sukkot, Shmini Atzeret, and Simchat Torah
The seven days of Sukkot—celebrated by dwelling in the sukkah, taking the Four Kinds, and rejoicing—is the holiday when we expose ourselves to the elements in covered huts, commemorating G‑d's sheltering our ancestors as they traveled from Egypt to the Promised Land. The Four Kinds express our unity and our belief in G‑d’s omnipresence. Coming after the solemn High Holidays, it is a time of joy and happiness.
