You Don’t Have to be Homeless to Enjoy a Park Bench |
Summer may be nearing its end but the weather is still pretty great, and it’s enjoyable to be outdoors. We would very much like to install several comfortable benches in front of the Shul building for people to sit on and relax on during these pleasant days. This would certainly add to the comfortable atmosphere and experience of attending Shul. Please help us meet our fundraising goal of $2,000 for two benches, which will be installed by the Village of Skokie. For more info please be in touch with Rabbi Yochanan.

Jewish Youth House Report |
The Jewish Youth House kicked off this week in style!
On Tuesday we had our monthly CTeen event, The teens enjoyed a great program discussing "Perception: Does it limit or free us?", enjoyed edible sunglasses, got confused by optical illusions, and more. A great time was had by all.
This event was made even more exciting by the power outage! Thank you to Howard Kaplan for providing a generator on super-short notice.
On Wednesday the Jewish Boys Club had our first Pizza, Parsha, and Games. We did those three things and also enjoyed popcorn and more.
On Thursday the Jewish Girls Club had our first Pizza, Parsha, and Games. Once again, we did those three things and also enjoyed popcorn and more.
Thank you to Main Pizza/Chalavi for the delicious Pizza!
Mooz Teen Lounge hours are this Sunday, from 4:00 -6:00 pm for teens from 9th - 12th grades.
This Wednesday, the Jewish Boys Club will be meeting for Pizza, Parsha, and Games from 5:00 - 6:00pm. The Mooz will be open till 7:00pm
