Chabad Israeli Center serves Skokie as well as the greater metropolitan area, and provides excellent programming and services specifically for Israelis and Hebrew speakers, including:
Israeli Synagogue. At the first ever Israeli Bet Knesset in the area, the common language of conversation is Hebrew, the food is culturally Israeli, and the Rabbi is warm, wise, and a Torah scholar.
Torah Classes. Classes are offered in a variety of locations, settings, and levels, and the language of instruction is Hebrew.
Women’s Events. The women gather on a regular basis to celebrate Jewish holidays, to learn, to socialize, and to enjoy Israeli and Jewish culture.
Kids Programs. Children gather weekly at Aleph Art for Hebrew and Jewish enrichment programs. At ChaiKids children celebrate each of the Jewish holidays together with their peers of Israeli background.
Bar and Bat Mitzvah Lessons. Boys and girls are prepared to enter Jewish adulthood.
Holiday Events. Israelis of all backgrounds stay connected with each other and gather to celebrate Jewish holidays.
Brit Milah. Rabbi Menachem Slavaticki is a certified Mohel, recognized for upholding the highest standards medically and religiously.
