Challah Bake - 9/17/2025
Bring in the New Year with your own homemade Challah!  Women and girls are invited to join Mrs. Yona Posner for a special Challah event before Rosh Hashanah. Learn how to make challah, do the mitzvah of Hafrashat Challah together, and shape round Challahs to bake at home.

Fondue & Fire Farbrengen - 10/11/2025
Women are invited to Fondue & Fire Farbrengen, a Sukkot gathering on Motzei Shabbos, October 11, at 8:30 pm. A  farbrengen is a cozy gathering of friends which is meant to uplift with words of inspiration and Torah. In the embrace of the sukkah, we'll reflect on some key Sukkot themes, and create decorative candles to bring the cozy embrace of Sukkot into our homes even as the season ends. Babka Bake at Lincolnwood Library - 10/26/2025
Craft a delicious, chocolaty babka twist from dough to pan. Bake at home. There will be 2 sessions - one for adults and one for kids with their adults. All ingredients & utensils will be kosher and provided by Lubavitch Chabad of Skokie. Reservations will be through Lincolnwood Library and details will be updated here when available.  

Mosaic Art - 11/19/25
Create a tile and glass mosaic tray using broken pieces to craft something beautiful and useful. The tray is for displaying your menorah, or for any purpose that you wish. RSVP please at www.SkokieChabad.org/7110387

Sufganiyot! At Skokie Public Library - 12/3/25
Ever wanted to make your own Sufganiyot from scratch? Now’s your chance! Join Yona Posner at the library for a fun baking activity. We’ll make the dough, shape the donuts, and prep the fillings. You will take them home to be finished (baked or fried). Designed for adults and families with elementary aged children.
All ingredients & utensils will be kosher and provided by Lubavitch Chabad of Skokie.

Jewish Women’s Shabbat Retreat - January 23-24, 2026
We're excited to share that this year’s Jewish Women's Retreat will take place on January 23-24, 2026. This special annual Shabbat retreat welcomes Jewish women from all over Illinois for a cozy winter Shabbos enjoying good food, wonderful speakers and programming, and warm camaraderie and company of Jewish women from this area.

Some highlights of this special weekend include farbrengen, Rebbetzin crossfire panel, delicious food, 24 hour tearoom, and connections with new and old friends. Registration fees include 2 nights in a hotel, and program & meals from Friday evening through Saturday night. This event is arranged by Chabad around Chicagoland. Hamantash Bake - 3/1/26
Join adults, families and kids for a hands-on Hamantash baking session!
Make the dough from scratch and mix and match fillings and toppings for a delicious and colorful experience.
All ages are welcome: adults are welcome to come without kids, young children should come with an adult.

Kosher Bagel Baking at Skokie Library - 5/10/26 
Join Yona Posner at Skokie Public Library for a kosher bagel baking experience. We'll prepare the bagel dough, shape and boil the bagels, and add toppings. You'll then take the bagels home to bake them. All ingredients and supplies will be provided. This event is hosted by the library and registration is required. Women’s Camping Trip - 7/12-7/13/26 
This trip is designed for Women! No prior camping experience is necessary to enjoy the wholesome activities in the beautiful outdoors. This adventure in nature includes easy hikes, modified horseback riding, boating, delicious meals cooked over the campfire, and sleeping in tents under the beautiful night sky (mattresses available!).
