Yesterday’s men dreamt yesterday’s dreams,
Winds blow cold, it’s winter now.
Creating some beauty from sorrowful scenes.

Yesterday’s dreams held yesterday’s heat
The earth lies deep beneath the snow.

Of hate and love that will not keep.
Where is that warmth of fire now?

Our smallest steps must be taken with care.

Life keeps arriving from most everywhere.
Beyond our todays there are perils to share
Moving with caution we all need to try.

Feeling their way through unfiltered light
Vision encrusted with both truth and lies.
Yesterday’s men know why men must die.
